When you book with us everything is included. Simply show up and we take care of the rest.

Supporting communities, one ride at a time. As a social enterprise, we rent our tuktuks from local owners, helping them move from driving to new career opportunities that provide better futures for their families.
Tuktuk theft is very rare in Sri Lanka, but in the unlikely event that it happens, our insurance policy has got you covered—as long as the vehicle wasn’t taken using your set of keys. So, if anything happens, we’ll make sure you’re protected.
If any accessories are lost or stolen, we will kindly ask you to cover the replacement costs. While most items aren’t highly valuable, please note that the tuktuk documents are an exception, with a replacement fee of US$100.
Yes, to aligned with our social business model, we require your payment to be confirmed before we can commit to reserving your tuktuk from one of our amazing local suppliers. However, if you are booking 6-12 months in advance, you can choose to pay either the local driver permit fee or a $150 security deposit to secure your reservation. Drop us a message, and we’ll help you on that.
For cancellation details, please check our RENTAL TERMS.
Yes! We accept payments through our secure credit card gateway (Stripe) or PayPal. If you choose PayPal and want to use your credit card, simply select ‘Pay by Credit Card’ at the bottom of the PayPal page. Keep in mind, this option might not be available in every country.
Yes, indeed! If you’d like to travel by train, our driver can take care of your tuktuk between Kandy and Ella. Simply leave us a message 48 hours before your train departure, and we’ll set everything up for you.
We offer comprehensive insurance for our tuktuks, covering damages to your tuktuk, third-party vehicles, and personal injuries for passengers involved. However, like most local insurance policies, there are some limitations. For instance, it doesn’t cover costs like flying you back home in the event of an accident or replacing personal items like your mobile phone. That’s why we highly recommend having your own travel insurance to ensure you’re fully protected throughout your adventure!
Of course! Our driving instructor will bring the tuktuk to your hotel with your license and the necessary documents. Once you’re there, you’ll get hands-on driving lessons to start your adventure.
Absolutely! If you’d like to drop off the tuktuk at a different location, just let us know at least 2-3 days in advance, and we’ll arrange for our driver to come to your hotel and collect it. Please note that location charges may apply depending on where you’re located.

Our rental prices are based on how long you book. The more days you rent, the lower the price! Short-term rentals come at a higher cost because they don’t offer as much value to our tuktuk owners, and that extra cost is passed on to them.

From April 2025 onwards, you’ll need both an International Driving Permit (IDP) and a local tuktuk endorsement from the Automobile Association of Ceylon (AAC) to drive legally in Sri Lanka.
Sounds like a hassle? It’s not! Getting one is quick and simple, even for travellers already in the country.
