Important Notes:
- If you apply using your home country driver’s license, the Automobile Association of Ceylon (AAC) will issue you a Recognition Permit valid for 3 months.
- If you apply using your International Driver’s Permit (IDP), you can receive a Recognition Permit with a validity of 12 months.
